Well, the first week is now under our belts. I do have to apoligize for the changing of the schedule with little notice. The reason being is that some of the match-ups in games to come were not equal. I have corrected this however so the revised schedule is as good as gold now. I also managed to crash my computer so the stats will be hand typed rather than with the new software(NO FAULT OF THE SOFTWARE, IT IS A MIKE ERROR). There were some high scoring games this week, but nothing that was astronomical. Some people may have thought that with adding performance points to the score, we would be scoring games in the triple digits all of the time, but that probably won't be the case. What it will do however is give you some added points to the score that could make or break you. It was nice to see this week that a lot of the final scores could not be determined until Mondays game was played.
There seemed to be some confusion on when and where to turn the line-ups in. The line-up should be turned in no later than 9:00 P.M. on Saturday, unless it is a Thursday game which would mean Thursday before kickoff would be the latest, and your primary source would be me(Mike Cooper) to turn it in to. Tony would be your secondary source to turn in your line-up in the event of my message machine is not working properly or other circumstances that prevented you from giving your line-up to me.
Since I have to do this manually I am not going to include non-starting points for this week. If you feel an error was made, contact me or Tony before week two begins actual play. If you want your non-starting points, let me know and I will calculate them for you.

Well Thom remains the only undefeated team. Tony put up a good fight, but couldn't quite pull it off due to all of Thom's receivers scoring big time. Maybe we should start a "Who beat Thom Club"? The Supplemental Draft had a good showing this year. Only two owners did not attend.
The trades and waivers for this year so far are as follows:
Remember since Supplemental Draft is over you can trade and waiver players up until the playoffs. You will have to have the new player sit out for one week after the trade or waiver. Waivers will cost the Franchise owner $2.00.

We are now into the home stretch of the season. The next three weeks will be all interdivisional games. It looks like it will be a shoot out for the wild card spots this year.
Since we are beginning the eleventh week, no more trades or waivers are allowed. The last of waivers or trades needed to have taken place no later than Sunday, Nov. 10th. There was however a waiver that did take place before that date that needs to be mentioned. Bank's Panthers waived QB Neil O'Donnell, NY Jets for WR Terry Mickens, Green Bay.
I have heard many opinions on the amount of information that I have been sending out with the newsletter, and have found that most of you could do without some of it. This week I will be sending only the League Summary and the Weekly Player Scoring Report. If you would like additional stats just let me know and I will get them to you.
The next three weeks match-ups can be what gets you into the playoffs. So if there are any stats that you may want in picking your line-ups and don't have, let me know and I will see if I can get them for you. A good place on the net to find stats which is also free is: www.1on1sports.com . This site will give you up to date reports on the games in all sports and the stats on players.

Well the final week of our season is now over. We once again have a Winner of the Super Bowl. I would have said a new one, but in this season we have the only reoccurring one. Thom's Phantoms won the Super Bowl this year for the second time, and is the only owner to do that since the league has begun. He won his first one in 1994. My congratulations to Thom for his big win. Bank's Panthers definitely had as good of chance at this game as Thom did because of their explosive players on their team, but their respective teams unfortunately did not see it that way. I will post the scores of the Super Bowl later in the newsletter.
Since there were weather difficulties in keeping the newsletter consistent we were not able to post the Spud Bowl contest. Mike's Marauders and Brent & Doug's Ospreys were the two teams to play in that contest. Mike's Marauders won over Brent & Doug's Ospreys in that contest. The two teams picked are the two teams with the lowest records in the league. I will post those results later as well.
We do plan to have a Super Bowl Party this year at my place. The date will be the official Super Bowl date. I am not sure what date the Super Bowl will actually start or the time, but the party will start one hour before. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Anything else you will need to bring yourself basically a B.Y.O.B. Also prize moneys will be given out at this time as well as awards. The address is N. 15107 Cincinnati.
